RECAP AND REVIEW

Thank you NetGalley, Avon and Harper Voyage, and the author for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.

Out now!

This is the third book in a romance series and is told from the third perspective from both Ava and Roman.

Ava is suffocated by the pressure to be perfect and live by the standards of her big family, most of whom always have something to say. Roman is a fixer and a workaholic, who barely has time for himself.

The two meet by chance and watching their relationship develop was fun. They have a steamy and healthy relationship that was refreshing to read.

The way things get complicated was frustrating in a way, but I get it. At times they didn’t seem on the same page, but I think their individual wants and fears about their situation were real and I get where they were both coming from in their own respects.

This book delivered on providing a steamy romance, but the author also gave us fleshed out characters who had their own internal battles to work through in a relatable way. Ava was relatable to me with her perfectionism and inability to speak up for herself. Roman was relatable to me with how he was always wanting more and how he couldn’t sit still.
