This book is the first in an upcoming series. It’s a novella told from Aliza’s POV in the first person.

Though the book is short and sweet, I really felt like we got a full and complete picture of Aliza and Kofi meeting and falling in love. We learn about their dreams and what’s expected of them, with nuggets of commentary about what tourist cculture can be.

To me, their love story gave that they were meant to be and they individually weren’t sure they were deserving or could even experience this type of love until it happened.

Overall, I give this a 4.5 stars. I enjoyed their journey and can’t wait for the next one!
