Willa and Trevor’s paths cross once every once in a while. Willa’s not too happy about it, though all Trevor wants is Willa’s attention. On a birthday trip, a night in the bar leads to a night together. Willa was fine to never talk about it again, until she finds out she’s pregnant.

RECAP AND REVIEW

Thank you Luna Literary Management and the author for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Available through Kindle Unlimited NOW.

This is the third book in a romance series about people from Fort Bender. It’s told in the first person of Trevor and Willa and spans over a series of months.

My review for the second book is here.

Willa is independent. With an estranged relationship with her parents and her own photography studio, she is used to handling things on her own.

Trevor is friendly and considerate, which annoys Willa because it’s different than what she’s used to.

Trevor has been harboring a crush for years. Willa hasn’t been interested, finding him annoyingly perfect and too nice. She didn’t even think she was his type until a flirty night at a bar.

Their story was sweet. I loved learning more about them and reading them learn more about each other. Their communication becomes open and healthy and it was everything seeing Willa allow herself to fall and to be loved. They complement each other and were able to combine their lives smoothly.

I enjoy Willa’s independence and stubbornness and appreciated Trevor’s admiration and patience. Their relationship started with sexual chemistry, but they get to know each other deeper and work their insecurities and anxieties.

I also loved seeing the leads from the others books in this one. It felt natural and was nice seeing how their relationships have progressed.

Read for:

🍼 Accidental pregnancy

🍼 Grumpy/sunshine

🍼 He falls first and harder

🍼 Found family

🍼 One Night Stand

🍼 Meet the family

OVERALL

Overall, I give this a 4.5 out of 5 stars. I looovveeeddd the second book, and was so excited and thankful I’ve gotten the chance to read the third. I need to read the first.

I loved Willa and Trevor and their dynamic. Though their relationship begins to deepen because of an accidental pregnancy, everything after was full of love and intention. I’m itching for more.
