RECAP AND REVIEW

This is the third book in a mythological graphic novel series. Out of the first three, it’s my favorite so far!

We pick right up where we left off with Persephone starting her internship in the Underworld and struggling with her feelings with Hades.

I liked all the side storylines in this one from Eros to Minthe to Artemis. Their roles felt true to how they’ve been through the series and the backstories were cool to learn about.

Like with the others, this one was funny and has me experiencing all the emotions. Parts of it are sad and there’s some real emotions and supportive advice in here, but the heaviness of some of the topics is relieved with the humor.

Trigger warning: 🚨One of the characters is experiencing the aftermath of being raped. 🚨

OVERALL

Overall, I give this a 5 out of 5 stars. I really enjoyed this one and my knowledge and enjoyment of the characters and the world only deepens with each volume.
